The 56F8355, a member of the 56800E core-based family of Digital Signal Controllers, combines the processing power of a DSP and the functionality of a microcontroller. The 56F8355 offers twice as much Program Flash, Data RAM and Boot Flash as the 56F8345 while providing full pin-for-pin compatibility. It is available in a 128 LQFP package.
