The REva starter kits from Raisonance are cost effective and completesolutions for evaluating and starting application development with a completerange of ST microcontrollers including the STR7 ARM core-based devices.STR71X-SK/RAIS starter kit includes STR711FR2 (USB) and STR712FR2 (CAN)devices and USB, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C and ADC evaluation features.

The starter kit package includes:

• REva motherboard: Universal evaluation board designed to easily andquickly evaluate a range of ST microcontrollers and device features. Themotherboard provides a host of evaluation features including LED, push buttons,switches, temperature sensor, potentiometer and interfaces for SPI, I2C andUART.
• REva daughterboard(s): Dedicated boards that contain all the specificcomponents for a given microcontroller, including the MCU itself, a clockselector and other device dependant features. Daughterboards plug into astandard SO-DIMM connector found on all REva motherboards.
• RLink: In-circuit debugger/programmer, featuring USB host interface.RLink is attached to REva motherboard so that no additional connection cablesare required for in-circuit programming and debugging with REva. In addition,the user can power both the REva motherboard and RLink from USB connection.
• RIDE: 16K code-size limited version of Raisonances full-featured IDE,which provides seamless integration of C and Assembler tools and a full-featureddebug interface .
• GNU C/C++ Compiler: Unlimited, optimizing C/C++ compiler for ARMcore-based microcontrollers.
